Workseed LMS (Learning Management System) was first created in 2016 to better address the developing needs of vocational education in the Nordic countries. The initial purpose of the platform was to facilitate learning at workplace, better monitor vocational studies, and visualize the progress of individual students in a simple interface. 

Our team’s work was defined by our strong experience of software development and turning promising concepts into working products. The first version of the Workseed LMS entered the market during the same year. 

The platform found its first users in Finnish vocational institutes, where it provided necessary tools to monitor and supervise learning that takes place at workplaces. Learners had the ability to document their work easily, workplace supervisors could provide transparent feedback, and teachers could better understand how their students are really doing. 

Soon the platform was adopted in Nordic universities of applied sciences that had made a strategic decision to improve how they manage internships. During the subsequent years, even companies have discovered Workseed as a platform for delivering corporate trainings and new employee on-boardings. 

For the last years, Workseed has been further developed in close collaboration with multiple vocational institutes, institutes of technology, and private sector actors. Workseed acquired a reputation as a customer oriented partner that takes user needs well into consideration. 

The cornerstone of out product development remains understanding the needs of training and teachers. We do not adopt market best practices, but rather create new innovative solutions for user segments that have traditionally been under-serviced. 

Our platform is supplemented by services provided by our professional team. We provide extensive support for our partners in adapting new pedagogical models.
